Happy New Year everyone!
Sometimes spending time to reflect on what’s happened in our previous years offers us the opportunity to say thanks to all the people who helped us along the way. We realize that we have a pretty good life and take stock in all that we’ve been able to accomplish in just 365 days.
If you find yourself already always in the ‘busy’ mode, you may want to take a few minutes to write down what you’re thankful for, because in doing this simple task can make you…happier.
This practice can be done at the start of a new year, a new job or when you’re not feeling down and grumpy.
To help you with your journal here is a self-reflection aroma blend you can use with your diffuser or add a few drops to a lit candle.
SELF-REFLECTION AROMATHERAPY BLEND
- 6 drops of Geranium essential oil (Pelargonium graveolens)
- 2 drops of Chamomile essential oil (Matricaria recutita)
- 4 drops of Lemon essential oil (Citrus limon)
Geranium is balancing and helps to awaken our inner senses, it can help you with your spiritual progress. While Chamomile essential oil (sweet) will help with stress, it lends gentle and soothing energy to help calm us and bring us back to the center. Lemon is uplifting and can sharpen our self-awareness.
